Bouwinvest Acquires 167 Rental Apartments in Alkmaar

On 2 November, Dutch property investor Bouwinvest announced the acquisition of 167 rental apartments in Project The Future near Alkmaar Noord station. The wider development contains 437 apartments, with construction beginning in November 2026 and completion expected in mid-2029. Of Bouwinvest’s apartments, 126 are planned for the mid-rent segment at approximately €1,350 per month including the new-build surcharge at 2026 price levels. The acquisition price was not disclosed.
